With the transfer opening tomorrow at 5pm, everyone still seems a bit confused as to how they'll sign a player. I've decided to make a guide for dummies so you all don't fail at life.

    1. Load up FIFA and create a new game of manager mode, being sure to set the currency to £.

    2. Go to transfer market and press Y to select 'Search by name'.

    3. Find your desired player and note their value.

    4. Create a topic in the Transfer forum with the title being the name of the player, for example 'Cristiano Ronaldo'

    5. In this topic place your bid, for example Cristiano Ronaldo is valued at 41m. A 41m bid will be sufficient, no less.

If you happen to get outbid by another player, it'll be a matter of staying alert and bidding more than them before a moderator sees the thread and accepts the offer.

Remember, you can only buy one player per day, so choose your signings strategically. Oh, and no stupid offers for players - None of them are sold for less than their value on manager mode.

Hope that's clear. Best of luck for tomorrow.
